A trip that won’t be forgotten!
We’ll meet at Portsmouth Harbour to get the overnight ferry to Brittany. While we wait to board we can introduce ourselves and start to get to know each other. Once the bikes are safely parked and strapped down and we’ve found our cabins, we’ll meet up and have a chat about how our guided tours work, our rider policy (included in your info pack when you book) and answer any questions you may have over a drink while we wave goodbye to the UK.
Get yourself some supper and a good nights’ rest ready for an early start in France.
After breakfast on the ferry, we’ll disembark and head into France - the fun begins!
Our route takes us through rural areas of France with endless green fields, deep forests, stately chateaux and small villages. Passing through the Loire valley, we’ll cross the Loire via the imposing bridge at Langeais. We’ll ride through La Brenne Nature Park that’s dotted with lakes, we arrive at Argenton-sur-Creuse where many of the houses with galleries and balustrades overhanging the riverbank are 15th-century.
Tonight we'll be staying in an 18th-century manor overlooking the river valley. The hotel has an outside pool, garden and terrace. The beautiful rooms are in classic French design with antique furniture.
Join our exclusive group BBQ in the garden.
We’ll travel through the wild and unspoilt Millevaches Nature Park in the foothills of the Massif Central and cross the Dordogne river as we head south. Windy and invigorating roads alongside rivers, gorges and tree-covered valleys are our backdrop as we head to the midi-Pyrenees. Our route takes us over the spectacular Millau Viaduct and then underneath for a photo stop before we stop for the night.
We’ll stay in Millau on this stop.
Today, we’ll set off from Millau for an amazing days’ ride along seemingly endless exciting rural twisty D-roads with spectacular scenery surrounding us.
Seriously awesome roads take us across the rugged countryside of the Parc National des Cevennes. Riding through the Ardeche region, our impressive route takes us through ancient villages, rolling hills and forests. We’ll travel onwards into the beautiful Parc de Pilat with yet more twists and turns.
A well-earned stop in the Rhône-Alpes region with its dramatic canyons and mountains is our home for tonight.
A day to relax or a perfect opportunity to explore the Rhône-Alpes area, enjoying some awesome roads and spectacular scenery. The lakes and reservoirs, orchards, vineyards and lavender fields provide a very picturesque backdrop for a ride on your bike before heading back to our hotel.
Tonight we will arrange a group dinner.
Another day of marvellous D-roads and fantastic scenery as we head north sweeping past lakes and reservoirs. Riding the bends and turns of empty roads in the Rhône region, our route leads us through rural France. We enter Beaujolais country with orchards, lavender fields, green woods, escarpments and, of course, vineyards.
The big unspoiled forests of Burgundy and chateaux, medieval abbeys and fortified villages are very beautiful and provide the scenery for our final miles of our day.
Tonight we’ll be surrounded by vineyards in the peaceful countryside of Burgundy.
Today we’ll ride across hilly landscapes and through the Champagne region with its ponds, forests and hedged farmland. Our route seeks out the best bends and scenery as the terrain begins to flatten out as we wind down for our final night in France.
Our hotel tonight is in Peronne.
We'll relive our antics over a final group meal.
Our last day in France. Following breakfast, we’ll ride the last 100 miles to Calais to cross the English Channel, say our goodbyes and part company with happy memories… until the next time!
We can arrange motorcycle rental if required.
